Dear Viking Families,

All New Kensington-Arnold School District schools will be closed on Friday, December 23rd due to expected severe weather conditions. We will be dismissing at regular times on Thursday, December 22nd. We will make the day up at a later date.

All students will resume school on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at the regular start time for each building. We hope you all have a safe, healthy, and happy holiday season.

The General Meeting of the New Kensington-Arnold School Board will be held on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the VJSHS Board Room, 703 Stevenson Boulevard, New Kensington, PA and also virtually via Zoom. The Education Committee of the New Kensington-Arnold School Board will meet on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the VJSHS Board Room, 703 Stevenson Boulevard, New Kensington, PA and also virtually via Zoom. At the School Board Meeting on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, the School Board voted to amend the 2022-23 School Calendar. October 3, 2022 will now be an Act 80 Day, with no school for students. October 10, 2022 will now be a regular school day.

Free Back To School Haircuts are being offered on Wednesday, August 24th, 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Urban Image, 955 4th Avenue, New Kensington. Please call 724-640-8797 to schedule an appointment for your child's free haircut.
